The Conservatory

Fred has always had a love of tropical foliage. With this in mind, the Brumbachs have  kept some type of greenhouse where ever they have lived. At La Casa del Wacho they now have a 30'x60'x18' tall conservatory. In this structure are planted many tropical trees, bromeliads, and space for the 100 or more tropical pot gardens to be housed during the winter months.

A 30'x60' modified conservatory

Upon purchasing the property on Mother Vineyard Rd, just like everywhere else the Brumbachs lived, Fred built his greenhouse. It was a 20'x30' standard bow frame and poly house used by most nurseries. It wasn't long before Fred knew he had to have something bigger and taller so he then modified a larger 30'x60 bow house and elivated it onto 8' walls to give him 18' of height on the inside. This allowed for his tropical folidge to grow into trees!
